1882 |
Setting up of "Oleoblitz lubrificanti - Milano", which produced lubricants
for industrial use, by Mr. Reinach. |

1910 - 1945 |
 |
Extension
of Company business in 1910 to include the automotive sector, with
creation of the trademark with three flashes of lightning (Blitz in
German), replaced subsequently with three arrows. The main strong point
of the Company in this period was its widespread distribution network
all over Italy through agents with or without deposit.

1945 - 1960 |
Company business was still focussed on the industrial sector. One of
the main events is this period was the entry of the oil companies that
secured market shares through coverage of the motorway networks. |

1960 - 1970 |
IThese were the years of the famous economic boom, characterized by
strong expansion of the car market and a consequent increase in the
demand for automotive lubricants. Oleoblitz adapted to changing market
demands both as regards formulation of its products (multi-grade) and
packaging (composit, cans). The sales network continued to be very
extensive, covering each Italian province with at least one agent. As
regards promotion, the Company pioneered formulas subsequently copied
by various competitors, such as prize catalogues for achievement of
targets, product on product promotions, etc. |

1970 |
Sale of the Company, with all its brands, to Fuchs.

1987 |
Following the setting up of a Joint Venture between Fuchs and
FL, the Company was taken over by the latter for the automotive
sector, while Fuchs continued to address the industrial products sector. |

1993 |
The Company was placed under the control of Arexons, a FL subsidiary that operates in the Car Care sector. |

 |
1997 |
Sale of Arexons with return of the Oleoblitz brand to FL.
Transfer of Oleoblitz HQ and activities to Turin province. |
